The death has occurred of Mary Threasa Haughey (nee Doogan) suddenly on the 11th July 2021. Very deeply and sadly missed by her husband Seamus, loving family son Paul and daughters Emer and Aine, daughter in law Oliva and sons in law Bernard and Ciaran. Her brothers Paddy, John and Donal and sister Ann, sisters in law, brothers in law, her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Remains reposing at the family home in Ranakilla from 7pm this evening. Removal on Wednesday morning for 11 am funeral mass in St Columba's Church, Carrick with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House is private for family and friends only. Frankie Barron – 24 May

Ballymore, Teelin

Frankie formerly of Glasgow, Scotland passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital following a short illness. Loving husband to Mary Catherine, much loved father to Mary and John, he will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Joe, grandson Sean, his sisters Theresa Williams (Scotland) and Mary Gillespie (Chicago), his sister-in-law Mary Barron, his brother-in-law Peter Williams, his nieces and nephews in Scotland and Chicago and a wide circle of relatives and friends. His remains will arrive at his late residence this evening (Monday) for approximately 7pm. Removal from his residence tomorrow evening (Tuesday) to St. Columba’s Chapel, Carrick for 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, 26th of May, in St Columba’s Church, Carrick at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to COVID19 government restrictions, the Mass and burial will be private to family and friends and restricted to 50 people. The Family home is private. The death has occurred in Áras Gweedore of Mary Frances Doogan, Ballyness, Falcarragh, Nee Gallagher from Teelin. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Séamus, her daughter Noreen, her son Michéal, daughter-in-law Noeleen and her four grandchildren, James, John, Denis and Eamonn along with her two brothers in Teelin Joe and John, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Mary will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and neighbours. Mary will be lying in repose at her home in Ballyness from 5pm this Friday.
